You can make a super easy (and incredibly delicious) Dulce de Leche with just a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk and a little bit of time!
- Remove label and place unopened can on its side in a large pot. Cover with water about 2 inches above can.
- Cook on medium heat for two and half to three hours. (Keep an eye on it. You may need to add water if it boils away.)
- Remove from heat and let cool. Open the can and you'll find amazing Dulce de Leche!
My grandmother made an amazing pie with bananas piled in a pie shell covered with this auce. She mounded fresh whipped cream on the top!
